Arable is a Riyadh-based agritech startup founded in 2024 by CEO Lawrence Ong and COO Christina Khalife that builds hydroponic farms adapted to Saudi Arabia's desert climate, aiming to cut reliance on imported produce in line with Vision 2030. The company closed a $2.55 million seed round in January 2025 from undisclosed private and institutional investors, roughly 90% of it from foreign backers, and has been reported to have raised $3.7 million in total.
