Cloud Alert builds a cloud-plus-mobile-app messaging system that lets banks send encrypted transactional alerts, one-time passwords and fraud or approval requests to customers. It costs a fraction of SMS, and messages fall back to SMS when the app is not installed. The company is Cloud Alert Ventures W.L.L., based in Bahrain, and it was admitted to the Central Bank of Bahrain's regulatory sandbox in January 2020.
