ActiveSWIFT — AI computer-vision self-checkout for retail stores
Founded in Dubai in January 2021 as Dukkantek, a store-management and POS platform for traditional neighborhood retailers (dukkans), raising $15.2M across a seed and a pre-Series A round. The company rebranded to DTEK.ai and pivoted to AI and computer-vision retail technology, launching the SWIFT automated self-checkout system at Expand North Star in October 2023. In May 2026 it signed an agreement with ADNOC Distribution to deploy SWIFT across 50 Oasis by ADNOC convenience stores starting Q2 2026.
