Foodics is a Riyadh-headquartered restaurant-tech and fintech company founded in 2014 (in Al Khobar) by Ahmad Al-Zaini and Mosab Al-Othmani, serving over 30,000 F&B outlets across the MENA region with POS, payments and restaurant-operations software. It raised $170 million in a Series C round in April 2022 — the largest SaaS Series C in MENA at the time — led by Prosus and Sanabil Investments, and has since made its own acquisitions, including self-ordering platform Solo (Feb 2025) and Greek AI hospitality startup Norma (June 2026).
