Green Desert Technologies develops sensor networks, automated controls and machine learning to optimise open-pond algae cultivation in arid, water-scarce regions. It sells sensor boxes to algae-pool owners and is scaling from a 50 m² prototype site in Tahlia, Jeddah to a 10,000 m² production facility in Hada Al-Sham. Flat6Labs invested in May 2025 through Cycle 5 of its Riyadh Seed Program.
