Haven Scientific designs and manufactures genomic diagnostic products, including real-time PCR detection kits for human, veterinary and food-safety uses, plus nucleic-acid extraction kits and reagents, tailored to the region's genetic and microbial make-up. It is based at the KAUST Innovation Cluster in Thuwal and says it is the only manufacturer of proprietary genomic tests in the Middle East and Africa.
