Maslaha ('gig' in Arabic) was a Dubai platform where companies post projects and receive quotes from licensed UAE freelancers in design, multimedia, web and photography. It took a 10% service fee and held advance payments in escrow. Freelancers got contracts, file transfer and payment in dirhams. The company also offered freelance-licence inquiries and describes itself as the idea of a long-time regional freelancer.
