Modaris connected students in Qatar with vetted private tutors for school subjects, university courses, standardized tests and skills such as programming. Two Yemeni co-founders started it in Doha in September 2015; it won Most Innovative Startup at QITCOM 2017 and reported serving over 7,000 students a month. It was later partly owned by Dlala Holding under its Dlala Smart unit and is now listed as acquired.
