Muallemi was founded by Georgetown University in Qatar students Abdulrahman Al-Thani and Abdullah Nazeer. It started as an online platform offering affordable one-on-one tutoring in Math, Science and English for grades 2-12 in Qatar. It now builds platforms, digitised curricula, LMSs and assessment systems for institutions, with programmes in the Gulf, Africa (Sierra Leone) and Europe.
