Nana
ActiveA quick-commerce grocery delivery app operating a dark-store network across Saudi Arabia, delivering groceries and household goods in roughly 15-20 minutes.
Nana is Saudi Arabia's largest digital grocery and quick-commerce platform, founded in Riyadh in 2016 by Sami Al-Helwah and Abdulmajeed Alsukhan, delivering groceries and household goods via a dark-store network in roughly 15-20 minutes (NanaExpress) alongside larger scheduled shops (NanaHyper). It has raised over $200M across five rounds from independent, non-sovereign backers (MEVP, Impact46, STV, FIM Partners, Kingdom Holding and others), most recently a $133M Series C in February 2023 led by Kingdom Holding. In April 2026 its operating entity, Central Markets for Information Technology, entered court-supervised financial reorganization under Saudi Bankruptcy Law (closely analogous to US Chapter 11) amid intense quick-commerce competition — a material financial-distress risk factor — but the app and stores remained operating as of mid-2026, with a 90-day creditor claims window running from the April 2026 filing.
