Palmear builds patented AI-acoustics technology that finds hidden pests, mainly the Red Palm Weevil, inside date palms. A portable sensor runs a roughly 50-second acoustic scan through a thin needle inserted into the trunk, and AI software decides whether the tree is infested. It sells on a subscription model and has operated in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Indonesia and the Philippines.
