Polymeron turns agricultural waste into biodegradable plastic formulations. Its inputs are Saudi date-palm waste and poultry bedding waste. The pellets run on standard injection-moulding, thermoforming and film-blowing equipment, and the company sells them to local plastic manufacturers. It came out of KAUST and took part in TAQADAM and NTDP's NextEra programme.
