ActiveQawam app: AI posture tracking from AirPods and iPhone motion data, with real-time alerts and personalised exercises (iOS, plus a B2B employee-wellness offer)
Qawam uses the motion sensors in AirPods and iPhones, with no camera, plus AI to detect bad sitting posture in real time, send alerts and suggest personalised corrective exercises. It also sells the tool to employers as an employee-wellness product. The company came out of KAUST, won 1st place at the Amazon MENA Hackathon 2021 and 2nd place in the 2022 Digital Innovation Award, and received a SAR 1.75M NTDP grant in the first NextEra cohort (2023).
