Rafeeq

Rafeeq is a 100%-Qatari-owned, all-in-one delivery and lifestyle platform covering restaurants, groceries, pharmacy items, flowers and retail marketplace goods, plus sub-brands Rafeeq Market and Rafeeq Starz (influencer partnerships). It was started by Doha-area restaurateur Abdullah Thamer Al Hemeidi (also spelled Alhemaidi), who owned multiple restaurants for over a decade and built Rafeeq after struggling to get delivery coverage to outlying parts of Qatar; he is CEO. The company now also operates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman and Jordan and invests in its own fleet and riders. No external funding round was found in any source checked.
