RAIN Technology was founded in New York by Brian Edelman and is based in ADGM, Abu Dhabi. It unveiled Orva, a hands-free voice assistant for surgical documentation and coordination, at Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week in May 2024, and later partnered with e& enterprise. In 2025 it merged with Stella Technology's EMR/HIE business to form Rain Stella Technologies (RST), which serves 17 healthcare systems in five countries.
