Rizek operated an on-demand marketplace connecting UAE consumers with vetted service professionals (branded 'Heroes') for cleaning, maintenance, beauty, automotive and tutoring services. During the COVID-19 pandemic it added at-home healthcare, collecting over 100,000 PCR swabs for UAE authorities and enabling at-home vaccination bookings. It was acquired by Astra Tech in July 2022 and its services were folded into the BOTIM app; the standalone Rizek brand no longer operates.
