Sadeem began as a KAUST research project in 2011 and was incorporated in Saudi Arabia in January 2018. It installs and runs flood-warning and environmental sensing networks for cities, with its largest deployments in Riyadh, Medina and Hail and projects in the UAE, US, Canada, Mexico and Spain. KAUST remains a shareholder.
