SDM is a Saudi health-tech startup that analyses retinal images with AI to detect eye, systemic and chronic diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and hypertension. Arab News reported in 2024 that it had served more than 30,000 patients across more than 13 centres in Saudi Arabia, often free of charge together with nonprofits. It was the first health-tech startup incubated at The Garage (KACST) and has also been supported by KAUST, NTDP and RDIA.
