Tabeeby
ActiveTabeeby – Arabic health social network and app for finding doctors, booking appointments and online consultations
Tabeeby started in 2012 as an online medical directory and in 2017 became a health social network connecting patients, doctors and healthcare providers across the GCC, with more than 5,000 registered doctors. It was founded in Kuwait by Abdullah Al Harbi, Lubna Omar and Tareq Khalid, and raised $770,000 from UK-based Ground One Ventures in December 2018. Later versions of the service added tele-consultations, home doctor and nurse visits, and at-home lab tests.
