Thakaa Technologies is a Doha IoT hardware startup that built Sajdah, marketed as the world's first smart educational prayer rug, aimed at new Muslims, children and people with cognitive conditions. It came through QSTP's XLR8 programme and incubator, received $100,000 in seed funding from Qatar Foundation, and ran a LaunchGood pre-order campaign in 2021 that more than doubled its target.
