Ustad Mobile
ActiveOpen-source, offline-first learning management app for Android, Windows, Linux and web, with peer-to-peer content sharing
Ustad Mobile builds an offline-first learning platform so schools, universities and NGOs can deliver interactive courses in places with little or no connectivity. Content is shared device-to-device, and the app is used in Afghan public universities and in deployments in Lebanon, Jordan, Bangladesh, Tajikistan and Ethiopia. It was pre-seed funded by Dubai's Turn8 in 2014 and won a $100,000 Expo Live innovation grant in 2018.
