ActiveSmart contact lens for AR and health sensing (in R&D)
XPANCEO is a deep-tech company developing a smart contact lens intended to combine an augmented-reality microdisplay, health biosensing, night vision and zoom in a single lens built from atom-thin materials. The technology is in R&D and is not commercially available: the company reported 15 working prototypes at the time of its July 2025 Series A, and its stated roadmap targets a first fully integrated prototype by the end of 2026, to be presented publicly in early 2027.
