ClosedPrepaid payment card and gamified banking app for Gen Z (ages 11-25) with parental controls
Teen-focused neobank: a prepaid card and gamified, community-based app that let 11-25-year-olds in the UAE go cashless, with parental top-ups and spending oversight, rewards and financial-literacy content. Founded 2021 by Alok Kumar and Nuha Hashem, backed by Y Combinator (W22), it raised a $1m pre-seed and a $3m seed in 2022 at a valuation above AED 110m, then shut down; the founders pivoted to Cozmo AI in San Francisco.
